acib GmbH is a top-class application-oriented research company with a focus on industrial biotechnology. With your valuable work you help our international scientists to work for a more sustainable and better future. Your task will be to explore project ideas and turn them into competitive funding proposals together with our scientists. You will develop convincing grant applications in the field of industrial biotechnology, manage consortia of different sizes during the application process and act as an interface between researchers and the acib management.
You will be responsible for the identification of suitable funding opportunities for various project ideas. You will write, submit and manage high-quality and winning grant proposals in close collaboration with acib-researchers for national and international funding schemes (e.g. FFG, EU-HorizonEurope, etc.).

We grant flexible working hours without core hours and teleworking at any time by arrangement. Our team is always helpful and is characterized by humorous, collegial and supportive communication. The statutory lunch break is paid, effectively reducing the weekly work time to 37.5 hours. - You have a university degree in biotechnology or similar disciplines of natural sciences Proven track record of successful grant applications in the past
- Strong interest in innovative technologies
- Excellent knowledge of funding programs (national and international)
- Exceptional communication and writing skills in both German and English
- Very structured and well organized way of working
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects, prioritize tasks quickly, and handle a high workload, especially, before submission deadlines
That’s what you should know
The gross annual salary is EUR 42,000. This corresponds to a monthly gross amount of EUR 3,000 (+ 2 special payments per year). However, there is the option of a significant overpayment according to your expertise.
