MOOC “The new plastics economy: circular business models and sustainability”

The MOOC “The new plastics economy: circular business models and sustainability”, realized within the Horizon 2020 BIO-PLASTICS EUROPE project is addressed to students, researchers, young entrepreneurs, managers, and practitioners who want to advance their expertise in circular bioeconomy and be the leader in the bio-based and biodegradable plastics industry.  

With an introductory and 4 content-based weeks, 20 modules and more than 40 units, the MOOC provides valuable knowledge in the field of bio-based and biodegradable plastics.  An attendance certificate will be released.  The MOOC is available on UNIBOOK, the platform of the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna dedicated to innovation and digital learning.

acib GmbH has contributed to the modules of “The multitude of fossil-based, bio-based and bio-degradable plastics” and explains the meaning and technical perspectives of these definitions. Participants learn about the production of bio-based and biodegradable plastics and their application fields in three dedicated units of the MOOC.
